Sample coverage | Households located within the boundaries of all settlements in Turkey are covered. Those who live in schools, dormitories, hotels, kindergartens, nursing homes, hospitals and prisons defined as institutional population and those residing in barracks and army houses are not included. In addition, settlements that are thought to not be able to reach a sufficient number of sample households (small villages, camps, hamlets etc.) with a population not exceeding 1% of the total population are excluded. |
