Household Labour Force Survey
Sample coverage | The sampling frame is the National Address Database. The sampling unit of the survey is the address, and the observation unit is the household. The survey is applied to private households within the scope of the non-institutional population. The weekly (continuous) implementation of the Household Labor Force Survey required the creation of a new sample design. Two-stage, stratified cluster sampling method was used in the Household Labor Force Survey. A rotation pattern was created to provide 50% overlap on address basis between two consecutive periods and in the same periods of two consecutive years, and 8 sub-samples were used in each period. In the design of the study, the sample size to be applied in each period was equally distributed over the weeks. |

Sample size | The monthly sample size of the survey is 19 000 on average, while it is 58 000 per term. |
