Household Labour Force Survey
| Sample coverage | Sampling frame is the National Address Database. The sampling unit of the questionnaire is the address and the observation unit is the household. The survey is applied to private households in the non-institutional population. In the Household Labour Force Survey, a two-stage stratified cluster sampling method was used. A rotation pattern was created to ensure a 50% overlap at the address level between two consecutive periods and the same periods of two consecutive years, and 8 sub-samples were used in each period. In the design of the study, the sample size to be implemented in each period was evenly distributed across the weeks. |
|---|---|
| Sample size | The monthly and quarterly average sample volume of the survey is 19 000 and 58 000 respectively. |
| Interview method | Hybrid model of Computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI) and Computer-assisted telephone interview (CATI) |
| Reference period for application of survey | Continuous survey (Survey is applied every week of the year). In continuous survey application, every week of the month starting with Monday and ending with Sunday is the reference week. |
