Sample coverage Sampling frame is the National Address Database.
The sampling unit of the questionnaire is the address and the observation unit is the household. The survey is applied to private households in the non-institutional population. In the Household Labor Force Survey, the weekly (continuous) implementation required the creation of a new sample design. Two-stage, stratified cluster sampling method was used in the Household Labor Force Survey. Between two consecutive periods and in the same periods of two consecutive years, a rotation pattern was created to provide 50% overlap on the address basis, and 8 subsamples were used in each period. In the design of the study, the sample size to be applied in each period was distributed evenly over the weeks. As of 2014, the sample size of the survey is 44 000 households.
Sample size The monthly and quarterly average sample volume of the survey is 19 000 and 58 000 respectively.
Interview method Hybrid model of Computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI) and Computer-assisted telephone interview (CATI)
Reference period for application of survey Continuous survey (Survey is applied every week of the year). In continuous survey application, every week of the month starting with Monday and ending with Sunday is the reference week.
Field survey time and duration Continuous survey (Survey is applied every week of the year.)
