| Description of indicator | This indicator, obtained from the Adult Skills Survey conducted under the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) coordinated by the OECD, shows the status of individuals aged 16-65 within the scope of verbal and numerical skills. i) Verbal skills are defined as the ability to understand written texts and respond to these texts appropriately and ii) Numerical skills are defined as the ability to use numerical and mathematical concepts. |
