Sample coverage | For 2016, the sampling method of the survey is a 2-stratified cluster sample. In the first phase, the cluster (blocks) consisting of 100 households was selected as the sample. In the second phase, sample addresses were selected from the selected clusters using the systematic selection method. A total of 1 342 clusters were selected from all settlements. A total of 13 420 households were selected for the sample by sampling 10 households from each of 1 342 household clusters. In 2022, the sampling method of the survey is multistage Stratified Cluster Sampling. In the first stage, 1 545 clusters containing approximately 100 household addresses are selected by probability proportional to size. Primary sampling unit is clusters. In the second stage, 15 450 household addresses are selected from 1 545 selected clusters by using systematic selection. (10 household addresses from each cluster) Secondary sampling unit is household addresses. The final stage, maximum two 18+ individuals are selected from 18+ listed individuals from respondent household addresses at fieldwork. Final sampling unit is 18+ individuals. Sample size of the survey is 25 178 individuals. Sampling frame is constructed on updated National Address Database based on Address Based Population Registration System. |
