| Calculation |
State-supported crop insurance policy includes counting customer numbers of insured farmers. If a farmer has policies in different branches, the farmer is counted separately in each branch, yet continues to be counted as a single total overall. This indicator shows also the ratio of organic farming areas to the total agricultural area. It is calculated by dividing the total of organic farming areas by the total area obtained by subtracting the ornamental plants area and meadow and pasture supply area from the total agricultural area. |
