Calculation The tariff rates- including the additional customs duty (ACD) and additional financial liabilities (AFL) rates in the Import Regime Decision- faced by the most favored countries (MFN), least developed countries (LDCs) and developing countries (EMYs) are taken into account in the calculation, added up and divided by the total number of rows for each country group. In other words, these ratios were calculated as simple averages.
Comparability Comparable over time. Produced in full compliance with global metadata.

Other information Since tax exemptions within the scope of exceptional applications such as Inward Processing Regime, end-use, civil aviation and investment incentives has not be taken into account in these calculations, the tax rates calculated do not reflect the actual situation exactly, and do show the theoretical protection rates of import policies.

In the calculation made, the ratios (including GV, EMY and IGV ratios) in the Decision were summed up on the basis of the ratios faced by MFN (DU), LDCs and DCUs, as indicated in the table, and divided by the total number of rows for each country group. In other words, these ratios were calculated as simple averages.
