Description of indicator The indicator considers two components to be computed as follows: Percentage of people living in Slum/Informal Settlements households and Percentage of people living in Inadequate housing households.
A housing is considered inadequate if it is not affordable to the household, i.e. the net monthly expenditure on its cost exceeds 30% of the total monthly income of the household. The data presented with this indicator represent the proportion of inadequate housing, which is a component of the global indicator.
