This indicator is reported on the basis of both donor and recipient perspective. From a donor country’s perspective: The sum of bilateral ODA grants by donor that focus on poverty reduction as a share of the donor country’s gross national income.
From a recipient country’s perspective: The sum of total ODA grants from all donors (i.e. DAC donors, multilateral organisations and other bilateral providers of development cooperation) that focus on poverty reduction as a share of the recipient country’s gross national income. a) Total official development assistance (ODA) grants to the Recipient countries focused on poverty reduction as a share of the Recipient Countries' Gross National Income (GNI) displays the ratio of total ODA grants dedicated to reduce poverty in the ODA recipient countries to the GNI of the ODA Recipient Countries. b) Total official development assistance (ODA) grants provided to the Recipient countries focused on poverty reduction as a share of the Donors' Gross National Income (GNI) displays the ratio of total ODA grants dedicated by the official donors to reduce poverty in the ODA recipient countries to the GNI of the official donors. Note: GNI data is based on estimations by World Bank's ATLAS Methodology. Also, some of the ODA recipient countries, including Türkiye, have been added to the donor's GNIs, if they provided ODA. |
